How to report an error
Email [email protected] with "Correction" in the subject line. Include:
- The page URL, for example
https://taskant.com/hashtag/travel/. - What's wrong. Quote the sentence, step or hashtag that's affected.
- What you think is correct, and how you know. A link to official documentation (Instagram Help Center, TikTok Support, YouTube Help) is the fastest thing to verify.
- Your device and app version, if the problem is a step that doesn't match what you see. Instagram often shows different menus on iPhone, Android and desktop, and features roll out gradually.
- For hashtag problems, say whether the tag page shows a "recent posts hidden" message, has been taken over by unrelated content, or can't be found at all.
You don't need to give your name, and we'll never ask for your Instagram login.
What happens next
- We check it. An editor reviews the report against official sources and the current app. If it involves a hashtag, we check the tag in-app.
- We fix it. If we got it wrong, we correct the page and update its "last updated" date. For hashtag issues, we also update the niche page's pools and our restricted and spam list, so the generator stops suggesting that tag.
- We log it. Substantive corrections are listed below. That means anything that changed the meaning of a page, such as a wrong limit, a broken step or a mislabeled tag. Typos and formatting fixes aren't logged.
- We reply if you asked us to, once the page has been reviewed. Sometimes the answer is that the page was right. For example, a feature may not have reached your account yet. In that case we'll say so, and may add a note to the page.
How we research and review content in the first place is explained in our editorial policy and methodology.
