Agreement
These terms apply to your use of taskant.com, including the hashtag generator, banned hashtag checker, caption and hashtag counter, hashtag directory and guides (together, "the site"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The free tools
- The tools are free to use and don't require an account or sign-up.
- They run in your browser using Task Ant's own curated hashtag data. They don't connect to your Instagram, TikTok or YouTube account, and they never need your password.
- You may use the hashtag sets, captions and suggestions you get from the site in your own posts, personal or commercial, without crediting us.
- We may change, pause or remove any tool or page at any time.
No guarantee of results
Hashtags and the other tips on this site are suggestions, not guarantees. We don't promise any number of views, followers, likes, sales or placement in Explore, search or recommendations. Platforms decide how content is distributed, and their systems and rules change without notice.
Our restricted hashtag list is based on public reports and our own checks. Instagram doesn't publish an official list. A tag's status can change at any time, so check tags in the app before you rely on them.
Accuracy of content
We work to keep pages accurate and review them on a schedule, as described in our editorial policy. Even so, content is provided "as is" for general information and may be out of date or contain errors. It isn't legal, financial or professional advice. If you find an error, please report it through the corrections page.
Not affiliated with any platform
Task Ant is independent. We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram, Meta Platforms, TikTok, ByteDance, YouTube, Google, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X or Snap. Those names, and related logos and trademarks, belong to their respective owners and are used on this site only to describe the services our guides are about.
Task Ant also isn't affiliated with XMind Ltd, which ran an unrelated to-do app on this domain from 2010 to 2015, or with the operators of the site that used this domain from 2020 to 2022.
Acceptable use
When using the site, you agree not to:
- scrape, copy or republish our hashtag pages, datasets or guides in bulk, or use automated tools that place excessive load on the site
- try to disrupt, hack or bypass security on the site
- use the site or its content to send spam, manipulate engagement, or break the terms of Instagram or any other platform
- misrepresent Task Ant, including claiming to act on our behalf or asking people for login details in our name
Short quotes with a link back to the relevant page are fine.
Intellectual property
The text, curated hashtag sets, datasets, design and code on the site belong to Task Ant or its licensors. Individual hashtags are common words and aren't owned by us. Our selections, groupings and notes, however, are our work.
External links
We link to official help pages and other external sites for reference. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Task Ant and its owners aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. That includes loss of reach, followers, revenue or data, and any action a platform takes on your account. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
